Covariables were included in the multivariable analysis if significant on univariable analysis at alpha level P < 0.05, except for time awaiting resettlement and time in resettlement in the USA given the relatively high rate of missing data amongst these variables (n_missing = 297, 71.22% and n_missing = 124, 29.74%, respectively) that would introduce instability into the multivariable model
